One, cause i am having a hard time going back to sleep, and two, i eventually sink in deep into my emotions and overthink anything that pops into my half-conscious, half-asleep mind.

I do believe, and admittedly accept, that overthinking has gotten the best of me ever since i can remember. Glancing back into my insomnia nights, one of the most-occurred emotions of mine was paranoia. You know, the i-dont-think-i-can-withstand-things-not-going-the-way-i-want-it-to feeling, along with the what-if-this-is-as-good-as-it-gets thoughts rushing all throughout the rest of the night.

I just want to pause for a moment to thank the good lord for making it rain right now. It adds more emphasis to my dreary vibe, and that the ashes that i left lying around on the back roof could now be washed away. I seriously do not want to get caught smoking again.

Anyhow, even though i just mentioned the words insomnia, paranoia, overthinking, and the such, i want to add another emotion that’s been lingering through my veins for quite some time now, and that is satisfaction. I think it is the perfect word, for happiness’ range can be too vast, and i dont think i have encompassed most of its “surface area” yet.

Explaining my satisfaction won’t be hard ‘cause it is as simple as it sounds: I am satisfied with how my life is turning out regardless of some mishaps and complications here and there. I have my amazing friends with whom i’m still greatly attached to, and vice versa. I have now formed a better relationship with my partner-in-crime, which is my sister, and let’s not forget the one person i spend most of my attention to, my girlfriend. Some people may definitely be shocked with this big change i’ve gone through. It’s just normal, i guess, to hear those “WHAAAT?!” “WEH, DI NGA, JEBY” phrases whenever i mention it or when some people just randomly found out about it. I’m not embarrassed in any way, i mean, why should I be? She’s by far, the best thing that’s happened to me this year, and I plan to keep it that way. (Okay i’m getting all defensive again haha)

So yeah, let’s just leave it to that for the time being. It’s been quite some time since I made a text blog. This should be enough on an update already, don’t you think? Hahaha.

Tomorrow it would be fully varnished and all! So excited!👌
